Building program workflow

Hi,

I have a kind of question or bug report. Probably the first.

I'm trying to "control" the zone program for each of them. I'm using the HB_ListZonePrograms component and connecting it to the HB_Mass2Zone. I'm choosing MidRiseApartment from the BldgPorograms.

So the first question is how to assign a precise program for each zone? I assume the Mass2Zone makes some random assignment ...

In the attached picturre i tried to pick from the list and make all of the zones "Apartments". It is not working.

Moreover, if you look at the right side of the picturre it asigned an OpenOffice use, which is not part of the list at all (is this a bug?).

I'm kind of confuse what is the "proper" workflow on this matter.

How to set the program more precisely per/zone at the beginning or change it in the middle of the work.

The picture you sent gave me a hint about the issue with the RadianTempMap.

The output of the glazingCreator gives only 1 branch, while the output of the setEPZoneCnstr gives 6 branches. So i flattened this output and connected to the RadiantMap and it works now.

Hi Abraham, Thanks for clarification but I still don't get it. As far as I can see the order is right. You are separating one zone to apply different schedule to it and then merge it back to the list. Is that the problem. Can you send a sample file that just shows the issue. Sorry- I feel so stupid! Looks like we are looking to the file differently. :)

The feeling is mutual, but i release you from it and i'll remain with the feeling. Now i myself can't reproduce the situation, but yesterday i was struggling with that. So forget this point and i'm really sorry :-(

What remains now is the other 2 issues.

Hi Abraham, Now it feels better. I leave that to issues to Chris for now. He developed both of the components and knows how they really work.

Hello! Was this fixed?

I'm getting the exact same error (solution exception) when using the midrise apartment program. When I disable and go to default everything is ok in Openstudio.

I assume that this is fixed. It always helps to upload a simple example file so we can debug the error on our side.
