Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am having a problem with a little project i am working on at the moment.

Basically a relatively simple loft command is killing my rhino/gh. When the loft command is connected it takes a few seconds to load (the profiler says it takes 4ms). Then afterwards grasshopper and rhino are unbearably slow to respond.

I have restarted laptop, installed new gh. set all preview settings to min. copied curves to new file. rebuilt curves for simplicity, Not sure what else it could be

Could somebody please just download my definition attached, and test to see if its an issue with my machine or the definition.

Thanks

Nick

Did you internalize the curves? If you did, post the file here.

There seems to be a problem when GH creates meshes from surfaces that are very far from the origin. The Rhino mesher doesn't look like it suffers from this.

Hide the loft component and connect to it a mesh surface component to preview the geometry.

Thanks dude, thats it. I was just working ontop of a file that was exported to me out of archicad. Didnt know. Centering it worked.

it also works if you scale down the model
