Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi All,

I am doing a script that imports a cloud of points, then draws lines between the points and lofts surfaces betwen lines.

Another section generates a series of lines from the inside of the resulting volume. I need to find out how far is the intersection point betwee the line and the surface for each line.

I find that some lines are returning more than one intersection point (some even 3 or 4).

I've looked at the surface and it is seems fine. It looks more like a precission error in the calculation of the intersection.

Does this make sense?  The origin of the lines is very close to one side of the surface, could that be the problem? Is it possible to avoid?

Thanks in advance,

ST.

Have you run the output of the Intersection Component through a Clean Component? This will remove any Null values by default with the ability to also empty branches if required
