Multiple Interactive Curve Growth

Hello,

I am trying to experiment with curve growth based on Rese Arch's script. I have explored possibilities with a single curve yet am a bit stuck with multiple curve in the sense that I cannot make them interract - especially merge the growing curves after the point they are close to or intersecting eachother.

I assume there are two - or howevermany based on the number of curves - parallel loops.

What I would like to do is to have two sets of curves in the rhino file merge into one.

Is this possible?
