L-system pattern using divided lines

Hello Grasshopper community,

I am trying to generate a branching pattern using l-systems through segments of points on divided lines. I am fairly new to Grasshopper and It seems like it would be something fairly simple to do. I have attached a photo that shows relatively what type of pattern I am imagining. I have explored l-systems using rabbit but can't seem to make it work on the way I want it to.

Could someone please help me with this problem? Or at least guide me into the right direction.
