Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello guys,
I'm wondering about the possibility to realize a kinky surface algorhytm in Grasshopper.
I mean: when we modify a surface moving a control point we generate a sort of blob on the surface; what I'd like to do would be to generate a sort of tensile structure, a cusp culminating to the point (or points), manipulating the pointgrid of the starting surface.
I've done an algorhytm that identify the cusp point from the starting poingrid, then you can move it alog a vector and the software generates a cross division with boudaries for four sub surfaces.
It doesn't satisfy me...here you can download it and take a look...
Essentialy the problem is the continuity of the surface that we want to obtain. Maybe a tensile (cloth) system prefers a mesh approach instead of a nurbs approach...

I don't know...let me know what do you think about!

Thank you
Carlo
