how can i draw multiple zigzags between 4 different point series

first of all sorry for my english from the beginning. i am going to try my best to explain my problem.

i need to draw the thing in the attachment. i am very new in grasshoper, and i am not familiar with commands yet. all i know is creating points with series, and and connect them with line command. i tried to search in the internet but i guess i couldnt find right words to describe my problem. if anybody can help me to understand how to draw this thing, i will appreciate. thanks.

I think the easiest way to do this is with [Relative Item]:

Hey..
I have to do the same homework.. and then I noticed that someone has already asked for it :) First of all thanks for the answer ..
But they showed us a really complicated way at the lesson like the screenshots in the attachement.. And they want us to do it in the same way.. I am also really hopeless in that case and hope that someone could help us..

So I've been tricked into doing someone's homework? nice...

Surely no good teacher can object to someone using a more efficient method to achieve the desired goal?

I'd say it shouldn't matter how you end up creating the pattern, as long as you understand why it works the way it does.

I wouldn't say that you were tricked :) .. Speaking for me, I am just trying to understand how the software is working, for a newbie it's not that easy to figure it out during the lesson.
