Generate specific number of volumes in a grid

Hi everybody!

I'm trying to generate an optimisation according to the video link below :

But i can't figure out how to start with the prismatic volumes, especially because i want something quiet different.. : /

First of all, i have a grid wich is my project surface, and i want to generate prisms in each square in the grid. The perfect script will be able to chose if i want 0,1, 2, 3, or 4 prisms in each square.

Can someone help me with this please?
