Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I have a very large 3D point set.  All the points are paired off right now, such that each pair is closer to each other than any other point.  Each pair must be connected with a line.

I realized pretty quick that the following doesn't work, since the closest point in a set will always be THAT point.  So, I guess I want the NEXT closest point.  Alternatively, maybe I can cull the number somehow so it doesn't find itself, but I'm drawing a blank on how to do this.

Any tips?  Thanks in advance,

-Doug

This discussion was closed for some reason, don't know why, but I re-opened it.

There's two components called Proximity2D and Proximity3D in the Mesh::Triangulation panel that I think do what you need.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for.

Shortly after posting this question, I found this single component that does what I want.

This prompted embarrassment and my closing of the discussion - in hopes that no one saw my silly question.  You guys are too quick!
