algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I have a field of splines and want to deform them, by attractor poits, but i got stuck.

Every atractor should affect just some splines (4 or 6) and not the whole filed.

The points of the deformed spline should be in the same spot and intersect the next unattraced spline (the red X in the drawing above)

I want the splines to be more "streamline" than on this screenshot and not to cross the source spline.

I found some scrips from the "attract splines" thread, but i could not adopt them for my needs.

thank you so far

At the moment my primary problem is to work out how i can handle the script with more than one point.....

Any ideas?

The most common solution to having multiple attractors is to graft the objects being attracted, combine them with all attractors to generate a list of vectors (one list for every point, each list contains vectors for all attractors) then ultimately use Mass Addition to combine the loose vectors into a single result.

Hi,

I'm still unable to run the scipt with more than one attractor.

Looking forward to any advice.

ps. you rebuild your curves, then divide them. That's unnecessarily complicated. Pick one.

thank you very much David, you made my night.

How can i affect just the next 2 or 4 splines to the attractor and make the attraced splines touch each other and the next spline to the attatched?
