Event Description

It is a pleasure to invite you to the NewSchool Symposium on <Practice>: Computational Processes in Architecture. The symposium is organized by the School of Architecture at NewSchool, and will take place in San Diego, California on Saturday October 24, 2015.

The theme of this year’s symposium is based on ‘Practice’, one of the school’s ‘Institutional Pillars’, with special focus on computational processes in the modern practice of architecture and design. Digital technologies and fabrication methods are becoming an important part of the integrated processes for design, analysis and construction. This year’s symposium will focus on how computation is shaping the practice of architecture and its allied disciplines.
