algorithmic modeling for Rhino

The image by Michael Pryor here has me thinking again about employing meshes to occlude geometry in 2D vector drawing outputs.  I have a number of models wherein I would love to generate output from with hidden curves with meshes, not in either a screen shot or curve render that leaves outputs rasterized, but much like how the make 2D function operates with nurbs objects.  Managing line weights and generating high-quality print objects for shop drawings are my goal.  Converting my meshes to nurbs objects isn't really an option.  I've searched around for means to achieve this and haven't seen anything yet...does anyone have any ideas?  Stabs at an approach or process that might employ various GH components to achieve this end?
