algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello everybody,

I've set some points on a circle. I'd like to move (or extrude) point #1 on the circle with item #1 collected - as you can see on the panel. And point #2 with item #2 etc.

Using [shortest list] or [longest list] I can't get good results. For now OR I move one point 12 times (number of items on my list) OR all points 12 times. But I want to move each point only once, actually.

Let me know if I need to be more clear.

Thanks for the help!

Hi Jo Yo,

note that the wires going into your shortest list and longest list components are of two different types. You have double lines (indicating single lists) and dashed lines (indicating multiple lists). Although this does not necessarily mean something is amiss, it's usually a big clue as to where the problem lies.

If you wish to move a collection of points based on a collection of distances, then you have to make sure these two collections have the same layout. In this case I think you have a single list of points and many one-item lists of elevations. You need to either Graft your points so that they get the same layout as the elevations, or you need to flatten the elevations os that they get the same layout as the points.

Hello David,

Flatten was the easy solution. Thanks!
