Proxy Scatter in Grasshopper - Forest

Using the new version of VRay for Rhino, we are looking at a Python script which scatters proxies within Grasshopper. This test creates an attractor field with millions of polygons. More info: http://lmnts.lmnarchitects.com/uncategorized/vray-proxy-scattering-with-grasshopper/

Ángel, no Vray API here.  We're just using basic Python and Rhinoscript to orient and transform the meshes created by the proxy.

Not real time (but that would be awesome!).  In this animation, each frame took about 3 minutes to render (we're dealing with a large polygon count).  Of course, this is all dependent on hardware and rendering settings.

Very nice. Realtime?
