legend question

Does anyone know how to create a simple legend based on this algorithm used to create the following image? The color gradient goes from purple to red in the z direction, and colors points (faces) according to their location in the z direction from the lowest z value (purple) to the highest z value (red). I just want simple legend that shows a scale from purple to red in mm (also showing the values where other colors appear). I tried using the legend that comes with grasshopper, but it has a…

OpenNURBS to Rhino Objects
