algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Finished this one about a week ago, but just saw all Nik interesting weave models, thought i should upload before he corners the market.

The sphere is formed using kangaroo, similar logic to an elastic band ball. 3d print to come.

Yes, exactly. The 'collider' component. I'll put up an example of how to use it soon.

@Daniel, thanks dude, I'm obviously still approaching this with v1 mentally. So are you proposing using the 'collider' instead of 'sphere collison' to achieve the different radii?

Oh yeah, 2.1.2, grabbing. Thank you for the fix Daniel, I kinda stopped waiting for it because thought you were super busy IRL. Nice to know that Kangaroo is still jumping.

What if you make mesh points in the near vicinity from travelling attraction point move away around it a bit like a bulge so you don't have to deal with colliding spheres. And make surrounding mesh points to react to that bulge only. To be honest I always liked Kangaroo but never used it that much and now the new version doesn't even work on windows 10 (that grab thing I mean).

I think that wouldn't be too hard to do as a visual effect. the only problem would be collisions. As one section gets bigger it would envelope its neighbours, as opposed to pushing them out of the way. To the best of my knowledge kangaroo does not yet accept different radius 'colliding spheres'. Once it does it should be pretty easy to make it 'live' like you say

Or let's say make attraction points travel with an interval along the center paths of these tubes and changing the radii of the tube at their local positions to make it look like contraction (bowel movement or swallow reflex?) Would be amazing to see it "live" like that O______O

I see, it has a few layers to create feel of depth but not all the way to the core. Very cool thing to just look at. Will be even creepier if you add it some fleshy red tint XD

No, there is just enough to create a full sphere effect. The model was already pretty heavy trying to simulate all the collisions.
