I have a very similar table which I could import to the Karamba table. But I have i_v or i_u values as well as radius of inertia for instance.

I have diagonals (bracings) which can buckle in these "non-regular" directions too, and they do. If I could add those values then in the Karamba model I could assign specific buckling scenarios..... I can see another challenge which will be at the ModifyElement component, I will not be able to choose these buckling lengths, in these directions.
Do you think this functionality can be added within short, or should I try to find another way to model these members?

background: I'm recreating elbows, Tees, and other fittings using
paramatric scripts, then baking and exporting them. Here's one source

Current Setup: the attached ghx file. Create a point at 0,5,0 in a blank
document with units set to inches, then assign that point to the top
left 'Center Pnt' in the ghx file.
Current workflow:
a) Modify variables A, B, H, and Nominal Dia to match one line from the
table in the linked PDF file, page 5, table of regular elbows.
b) Select the 'Nodes' and 'Surfaces' with a drag box
c) Click 'Bake'
d) Switch to Rhino window, do the 'sellast' command.
e) Drag baked objects along Y axis so the center point is at 0,0,0
f) Run 'Join'
g) Run 'Cap'
h) set the 'node' points to a layer called 'nodes'
i) set the surface to a layer called 'fit-3d'.
j) select the surfaces and nodes
k) export selected
This elbow that I'm doing only has 12 rows, so doing it the above method
doesn't take THAT long. I'm also going to be doing a couple with larger
tables like the Tee on page 8, and in other spec files. As you can
imagine, entering in EACH value into a slider is a bit tedious.
I'd love to take the pdf table, run it through an OCR program to convert
to excel, modify the headers so the ghx script knows what they are, then
paste it into grasshopper, or save it and have grasshopper read it, and
I be able to move a slider or something to to select one line at a time.
Has anyone done something similar? ie: assigned one row in a table to a
predefined set of variables, each variable coming from one field in the row?

I would infinitely appreciate the resolution to this problem, for the moment I can not think of anything other than to uninstall everything and leave only installed the program Rhinoceros 5SR13 with Grasshopper 0.9.76.0 and nothing more.
I already tried to download another new file from Grasshopper 0.9.76.0, which ruled out that this installer is wrong, what I could do is look for another version of Rhinoceros but I have the newest one or one of the newest versions: Rhino_5.13.60913.21340_x86_x64_Multi. Exe
I understand that the Grasshoper installer is showing me a message where it says there is a Win32 exception where the system can not find the source file, what I do not know is if this exception has to do with the Windows C /: Folder: Windows, subfolder: System32 or I do not know if it refers to that as I do not have the 32 bit version of Rhinoceros maybe the installer gets confused and generates the installation error exception.
Another thing to which the exception is associated is the start process file: Start.nfo or start information.
There is also a programming argument for file upload errors of boolean operations (geometry operators) associated with the platform operating system, a process called child process.
Also appears another note that says the installed package of a plugin called inspector and I do not know what else I can not explain.
I do not know what to do, I just happen to uninstall and install everything and I do not think the Rhinoceros installer has any errors, I have Windows 10 edition of Red Stone 1 of 64 Bit.

occur more than once in the same list, and different elements with identical values can occur more than once. Also, a list may contain lack of elements, referred to as "nulls".
Sets. Strictly speaking a Set is a mathematical construct which adheres to a strict collection of rules and limitations. Basically, a Set is the same as a List, with the exception that it cannot contain the same element more than once, or indeed two or more different elements with the same values. You see, in mathematics there is no difference between a value and an instance of that value, they are the same thing. In programming however it is possible to store the number 7 in more than one spot in the RAM. Grasshopper does not enforce this rule very strongly though, you can use a lot of Set components on lists that have multiple occurrences of the same value. The big difference between Lists and Sets in Grasshopper is that Sets are only defined for simple data types that have trivial equality comparisons. Basically: booleans, integers, numbers, complex numbers, strings, points, vectors, colours and intervals. Lists can contain all kinds of data.
Strings. Strings are text. There's nothing more to it. I don't know why early programmers chose to call them strings, but I suppose it's a better description of the memory representation of them. Strings are essentially sequences of individual characters.
Trees. Trees are the way all data is stored in Grasshopper. Even when you only have a single item, it will still be stored in a tree. A tree is a sorted collection of lists, where each list is identified by a path. A specific path can only occur once in a tree, when you merge two trees together, lists with identical paths are appended to each other. Trees are an attempt to losslessly represent not just the data itself, but also the history of that data. Imagine you have 4 curves {A,B,C,D} and you divide each into 3 points {X,Y,Z}. Then, for each of those points you create a new line segment {X',Y',Z'} and then divide each of those line segments again into 5 points each {K,L,M,N,O}. The way data is stored in trees, it should be possible to figure out whether a point M belongs to X' or to Z', and whether that X' or Z' came from A, B, C or D. This is why paths are often quite long after a while, because they encode a lot of history.
Paths. A Path is nothing more than a list of integers. It's denoted using curly brackets and semi-colons: {A;B;...;Z}. A Path should never be empty {} or have negative integers {0;-1}, but it is certainly possible to create a path like this and it probably won't even crash Grasshopper. Paths are 'grown' by components that (potentially) create more than one output value for a single input value. For example Divide Curve. It creates N points for every single input curve. In cases like this a new integer is appended to the end of the path.
In the next release the Path logic in Grasshopper is somewhat different. I fixed a number of obscure bugs (hopefully without introducing new fresh bugs) and special cased certain operations to somewhat reduce the speed at which paths grow. This may well break files that rely on a specific tree layout, but I hope the temporary sacrifice will be worth the long-term benefits.

This is a bad mesh.
Here is what is wrong with this mesh: Mesh has 2 non manifold edges. <<------because of the duplicate face Mesh has 1 duplicate face. Skipping face direction check because of positive non manifold edge count.
General information about this mesh: Mesh does not have any degenerate faces. Mesh does not have any extremely short edges. Mesh does not have any naked edges. Mesh does not have any self intersecting faces. Mesh does not have any disjoint pieces. Mesh does not have any unused vertices.
Continuing the repair process does rid the duplicate face. I also realized that rhino 5 has the command called "ExtractDuplicateMeshFaces" which works quite nicely.
However, this "method" is not available in rhinocommon currently. So I just wonder who can I ask to add it? It seems it would make sense to be in rhinocommon considering we have methods available for each of the other tests run by mesh repair. The reason I am interested in this command is it seems to work very fast.

three categories, each one corresponding to different shapeType_ input:- polygons (shapeType_ = 0): anything consisted of closed polygons: buildings, grass areas, forests, lakes, etc
- polylines (shapeType_ = 1): non closed polylines as: streets, roads, highways, rivers, canals, train tracks ...- points (shapeType_ = 2): any point features, like: Trees, building entrances, benches, junctions between roads... Store locations: restaurants, bars, pharmacies, post offices...
So basically when you ran the "OSM shapes" component with the shapeType_ = 2, you will get a lot of points. If you would like to get only 3d trees, you run the "OSM 3D" component and it will create 3d trees from only those points which are in fact trees. You can also check which points are trees by looking at the exact location on openstreetmap.org. For example:
Or use the "OSM Search" component which will identify all trees among the points, regardless of whether 3d trees can be created or not.However, when it comes to 3d trees there is a catch:
Sometimes the geometry which Gismo streams from OpenStreetMap.org does not contain a "height" key. Or it does contain it but the value for that key is missing.OpenStreetMap is free editable map database, so anyone with internet access and free registered account on openstreetmap.org can add features (like trees) to the map database. However, regular people sometimes do not have height measuring devices which are needed for specific objects as trees.So "OSM 3D" component will generate 3d trees from only those tree points which contain a valid "height" key.However, a small workaround is to input a domain(range) into the randomHeightRange_ input of "OSM 3D" component (for example the following one: "5 to 10"):
This will result in creation of other 3d trees which do not have defined height, by randomizing their height. randomHeightRange_ input can also be applied to 3d buildings, and it is definitively something I need to write a separate article on.
In the end it may be that nobody mapped the trees in the area you are looking for.
After you map a tree to openstreetmap.org then it will instantly be available to you or any other user of Gismo. I will be adding some tutorials in the future on how this can be done. But probably not in the next couple of weeks.

The PC actually stops working because after a few seconds the simulation starts the fan inside the PC all of a sudden stops and for the next 5-10 mins I cannot do anything, even alt+ctrl+canc. After I wait for that time i get the followig error:

The thing is that if I raise the -aa parameter from 0.05 to 0.1 all works fine..
Is this only related to my PC then?? What should I do to solve this issue?

a and we'll stop adding new stuff. At this point the Grasshopper version will be rolled to 1.0 Beta 1 and we'll keep on fixing serious bugs, resulting in Grasshopper 1.0 Beta 2 etc. etc. until the product is stable enough to be treated as a commercially viable product.
This does not mean Grasshopper will no longer be free. Robert McNeel & Associates (who develop and own the copyrights to Grasshopper) haven't decided yet whether or not to sell Grasshopper or whether to keep it as a free plug-in for Rhino customers.
As soon as Grasshopper 1.0 goes into beta, all development (apart from the odd bug-fix) stops and we start typing on Grasshopper 2.0. It will probably be a few months until the first 2.0 WIP version is released but basically the whole process starts over.
What are we looking to accomplish for 1.0 and which things are planned for 2.0 and beyond? The only major feature still missing in 1.0 is the Remote Control Panel. This feature was removed at some point and has been partially rewritten since then. Once it's finished, we consider the 1.0 feature set to be complete.
To be honest we've made very few concrete plans yet concerning 2.0, however it's clear that some things need to be at least seriously considered and researched. Here follows a list in no particular order:
Documentation System. This is one of the things we know we're going to do as we've already started. The Grasshopper help system will need to be rewritten and a lot of help topics need to be typed up. We have a pretty good idea what it is we want to accomplish with the new help and how we're going to go about it.
Vocabulary. Along with new documentation we'll critically analyse the current terminology and vocabulary of Grasshopper. We'll probably come up with glossaries and style sheets. We want to use words that are —at best— self documenting and —at worst— non ambiguous.
SDK and core library cleanup/improvement. Grasshopper was the first large scale product I ever developed and a lot of mistakes were made in the SDK design. A lot of functions and classes have been marked obsolete over time and many operations are not properly bottlenecked. I also want to add a lot more events so it's easier for code to keep close tabs on what's going on at any given moment.
GUI platform. At the moment Grasshopper is pure .NET winforms using GDI+ for all the interface drawing. There are certain performance issues with using large GDI+ surfaces and certain limitations on what we can and cannot draw. We will be investigating other graphics pipelines such as WPF, OpenGL, DirectX, OpenTK and whatever else seems promising.
Multi-threading. It is clear that some components are embarrassingly parallel, and since almost every single laptop and desktop has at least 4 cores these days it would be a shame not to use them. We will investigate what it takes to implement multi-threading as a standard feature.
Large file support. Grasshopper becomes awkward to use when a document contains more than a hundred or so components. We need to both improve the interface to provide methods for layering or grouping sub-algorithms and also add ways to reduce memory and computational overhead.

L'autre composante est un joint C # qui fait beaucoup de choses autres que de diviser ne importe quelle collection de points avec de nombreux modèles (voir le modèle ANDRE que je ai fait pour vous). 5. Vous devez décomposer une polysurface en morceaux afin de travailler sur les subdivisions. 6. Je donne une autre définition ainsi que pourrait agir comme un tutoriel sur la façon de traiter des ensembles de points via des composants de GH standards et des méthodes classiques.
