4. Use SDiff to subtract the spheres from the Brep in step 1.
Varying the scale factor in Step 2 moves the spheres closer to or farther away from the solid Brep. You can also change the size of the spheres - or do both. For fancier results you can arrange the spheres in patterns by creating the Step 2 points in non-random ways. For even fancier results you can substitute some other closed Brep for the spheres - I've liked using 7-pointed non-overlapping star shapes.
As Peter and others have pointed out, SDiff can take a long time to process, so start with relatively few points/shapess to subtract. …

n cells and square cells.3. the tringle cells to be as holles in between the extrude shapes. (in the tringle cells I don't want to contain a 3d shape).4. The extrude of Hexagon and square should be gradual: from 2d shape on the grid, to 3d shape (by extruding and atrractors point)5. than to manipulate the grid by gradual enlarging and reducing it, etc. Therfore, as start I would like to create the grid when each shape cells will be sorted in separate array. Than to flow the grid along a 3d surface.

fused with those vb scripts that need their trees visible outside the component - mine is only on the interior.
I could post the code but I'm not sure how useful it would be to you - it's very specialized to a particular use,..
so back to normal arrays - anyone care to help refresh mymemory how you would make an array where each row has three columns, but the third has a list within it? would that make it a 3d array? basically a structure where each 'entry' has (0,0) and (0,1) of single integers but (0,2) is a list of integers?

nts which are located on different surfaces of these boxes. Now I want to divide the points in such a way that I have all the points located on each different surface in a branch of a list.
So if I have a tree for the points with 10 branches (for 10 different situations) and 4 different surfaces the points can be located on. I would like to have one tree as a result where I have the following struture:

{Situation 1, Surface 2}
{Situation 1, Surface 3}
{Situation 1, Surface 4}
{Situation 2, Surface 1}
...
{Situation 10, Surface 4}
My goal is to make individual surfaces based on the point clusters on each surface.
For now I tried the Point in Curves function, but somehow I still get points on different surfaces even though I should just get them for one of the surfaces.
