ed. This image shows the problem:
If this is not what you are seeing on your own machine when you hook up your HBZones to a panel, then you have not uploaded the right Rhino and Grasshopper file.
2) You have not run your HBZones through an EnergyPlus simulation. You need to do this in order to get data with which to construct the indoor temperature map. I would strongly recommend following along through the first 8 videos of this tutorial series before trying to construct an indoor radiant temperature map of your own project (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLruLh1AdY-SgW4uDtNSMLeiUmA8YXEHT_)
3) You are using components from the last stable release, which is fine but you should know that there has been a lot of development on the indoor temperature map workflow in the last 20 days (there is now a much cleaner workflow that integrates the air and radiant temperature with comfort alanyses now on the github). If you imagine using this workflow frequently, I would recommend updating with the Ladybug_Update Ladybug and Hopneybee_Update Honeybee components. See the attached recent file for how the workflow is currently structured.

easy. There is room for discussion and clarification. The most wanted ideas quickly, and clearly, rise to the top. Voting is limited in a clever way and forces users to choose their most valued features.
The general rules, copied from: http://3dsmaxfeedback.autodesk.com/forums/80695-general-feature-requests/
Each user has 20 votes for each forum
Each idea can have no more than 3 votes by a single user
If you enter an idea, it will cost you 1 vote – therefore try to make sure the idea doesn’t already exist
The more precise and detailed a description you give, the more likely your idea will be considered
When an idea is implemented (or declined), votes are returned to all the users that voted
Users can change their votes at any time
Admins can move, edit and delete ideas as they see fit to better meet the goals of the forum
We will flag ideas that are getting our attention as “under review”. Because of limits on what we can say publicly, that is as far as we can go with commenting on a particular idea. If it is “under review” it simply means we’re studying it for possible implementation or gathering data, but there is no commitment to do it.

ny Agents are within it after each iteration and their centroid attract Agents). So, I basically came up with a small .dll where I wrote classes for Agent, ZOne, Cell and SystemSetting. I reference this .dll into my VB component but then the majority of the functions and subs that describe this system interaction are written directly in this VB component.
The system works fine, but I cannot achieve the effect of having the system to redraw after each iteration. For example :
'''////////////////////////////////////'''
Call InitializeEverything()
For i=0 to 19 'say, Iwant to run my system for 20 times
Call UpdateZones() 'updates attractor values of Zones
Call RelocateAgents() 'say, code that does all the evolutionary job
Dim agentSrf As New List (Of OnNurbsSurface) 'want to collect the surface_
representation of all agents and visualize it
For j= 0 to agents.count-1
agentSrf.Add(agents(i).MySurface() 'collect the Agent representations
Next
A=agentSrf
Next
'''////////////////////////////////////'''
So, in this case I will only see the surfaces of the agents after this last iteration. I was trying to use timer and target my VB component but I have my initialization function there as well so it just reruns everything from the very beginning. Or I tried to:
A=agentSrf
System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(5000)
but this didn't give me much either.
I'm sure that there is a relatively simple solution to that but I cannot find it.
Would you please give me your thoughts on that?
Thanks A lot,

izes. I've been doing this up until now using a very rudimentary VB script I wrote that looks like this:
If x < .8875 Then A = .75 ElseIf x >= .8875 And x < 1.025 Then A = .8875 ElseIf x >= 1.025 And x < 1.1625 Then A = 1.025
.......and so on and so on
You can see how clumsy this is. What I would like to do is take this script and make it dynamic; so I can plug in a step size and let it run through a loop of some kind so if I decide we want 20 unique sizes instead of 10, I don't have to go in and re-work all that cumbersome code. I've tried this with For loops and Do While loops...but I must be missing something cause it isn't working. Currently my loop looks like this: (n is number of steps/unique members, min is minimum size, and steps is the increment of length from n to n+1)
For i = 0 To i = n - 1 If l >= min + steps * i And l < min + steps * (i + 1) Then A = min + steps * i - .05 Else i = i + 1 End If Next
The code works, but doesn't loop. Can anybody point me in the right direction to fix this?…
mething like an i7 with four cores would serve best. i am running 4x3.4 here. you should see 100% cpu utilization when solving.
2) model specifics: topology (= how many elements coming together in one joint), joint and support freedom, which both define the number of degrees of freedom of the model. the more DOF, the larger the stiffness-matrix to invert , the longer computation time. truss-bars are a LOT faster than beam elements.
3) loads and load cases: in general the more load cases, the longer the solving time. the more load vectors on single nodes (which it all comes down to), the longer too. but loads dont affect the computation time too much, especially since once the stiffness matrix has been inverted, most load cases can be applied to it i think.
eigenmodes take a LOT longer to compute than normal analysis, in certain karamba releases the automatic calculation of the first eigenmode (for debugging your geometry) was turned on inside the analysis module when something was wrong with the actual calculation to debug. this could turn out to be pretty annoying with big models so now it's turned off again.
with 'nonlinear', do you mean the large deformations iterative approximation component of karamba?
an average model with 10000 beams and three load cases takes ~400ms here, so take this times 20 for some non-linear iterations and you are there, roughly.

The thing is that if I raise the -aa parameter from 0.05 to 0.1 all works fine..
Is this only related to my PC then?? What should I do to solve this issue?
Thanks again for your help
