ze the circles so that I only have 4 different radii sizes (1", 3/4", 1/2", 1/4"). This part has been the real challenge for me. I am still pretty new to Grasshopper and am still trying to understand data trees and how they work. Currently, I have the list of radii and have figured out how to test the items in the list using the Include component. If an item falls within a domain, it is true and then I would like to assign a specific radii to that. For example, if I have an item that is .184, it would 'round up' to .25. But once I know it is true, then what? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
I have attached the .3dm file, .GH file and the image used in the image sampler for evaluation.
Thanks…

ual not tactile. i havnt touched the roof of my house i have been living in since 25 years yet its a part of my space. its still a visual plane between me and sky ( except that it protects me from rain). anyway, the point was to reconstruct huge cathedrals without moving big amount of earth.I came up with Nuun lense ( i had in sketches, it will be shorter form of this ugly cube, probably in mms) which will line the necessary floors and stairs-wells and towers.
During my experiment I realized this can be used for visualizing architectural spaces in real time, specially for arch student, it could be used as a console, that can replace cad and other 3d softwares. you can draw basic grids, orthogonal shapes ( not Zaha hadid stuff ). I still am very enthusiastic about this idea. I want to see it function some day.
Grasshopper was used to drive poor reflectors through firefly, to bend laser.( it failed badly) Its just for idea if anybody likes to follow, i dont have enough resources but it would make me happy if some day i see students working on realtime laser models and building having virtual ornamentation.
Any architecture/ electronics student who wants to further his research in lasers and its application in virtual modeling can contact me.

am to find the coverage for various public-transport stations and is interested under what conditions that coverage will poorly represent reality, then that would fit perfectly within your proposed forum, but the SO people will close it as off-topic before you can say directed-infrastructure-networks.
Or discussing which properties of a transport network would be sufficient to encode into a graph in order to give a model accurate enough for early design iterations.
Or discussing the fabrication costs under various manufacturing methods of elements (a, b, c, ...) with amounts (K, L, M, ...). ie. is it cheaper to manufacture façade panels using manual welding if I have 50*a + 50*b + 25*c or would it be cheaper to have 120*a + 3*b + 2*c?
Or discussing the visual aspects of various types of geometry. Do Bezier or Akima splines look more natural? What about them makes them look natural/unnatural? Can people tell the difference between a perfect circle and a circularish Nurbs curve with 12 points? Does it matter whether the Nurbs curve is small or big? Next to a perfect circle or not? Horizontal or vertical?
What equation would better describe experienced time by humans travelling from A to B rather than measured time?
How can I find out under what wind conditions this sharp edge on my building will start whistling?
How much might the potentially bad smell of this cheaper material lower the value of my building?…
omplished i decide to post my version anyway (mine only works on Points though)...
tPts (total Points) are the total number of points to work from
intS (integer Split) is the value to split the list around. so if tPts is 50 and intS is 2 then the final returned value are 2 objects containing list of 25 points.
oh, and the "item sel" node is a utiltiy node i wrote that lets me scrub through and look at individual values in an index.
if you're game feel free to give me feedback about my coding style... im still trying to get hang of this.

to Galapagos for now. I've made the simplest test possible. The idea is that the servo will move the disc over the light and it should identify that position #2 is the one that lets the most amount of light in. I also encountered another problem, the information from the light sensor jumps alot. I could't use a firefly smooth definition because it slowed the information back to galapagos, so I had to create another definition in python that reads: if x > = 25 and x <= 75: a = 1 ...etc. I might have to think of a better way for future tests.
But, the last 10 tests were positive, so I'm building a more complex one.
I will let you know how it goes.

ingle surface. But as seen on left surfaces in attached zip screenshot "A" and proj. "6b-RnGH_Simpdatainter-TTTWriteXL_J gh.3dm", i spent more time attempting correction of the patched polysurf many errors, artifacts and lack of original surface topology, all regardless of uv count or "flexibility". Fortunately, as seen on upper right surf of screenshot A & proj., a Quad polygon Mesh patches to an accurate surface and texture (even with backside "spike" artifacts) so long as patch Spans and Flexibility are sufficient. Also, Grasshoppers patch reproduces surf's far more accurate than Rhinos (possibly due to Rhinos patch, 100 unit uv count limitation? or my ill use).Would like to send the polysurface for you as well Dave(Hello &feel free to chime in), but even zipped the .3dm is 25 mb over GH3D site 5mg limit, so i had to remove it.- is there another way, perhaps Pm, email etc. i could send this to you both?,A)WRITEXL:As seen in screenshot "2.jpg", my WriteXL output is not in the same "Set1-5" format as yours, so perhaps won't be read properly by your Simpledatainterpolation def.1) how to fill each XL cell with single x,y,z coordinate or corresponding row name and column group numbers?, ..same as your XL format. Once answered i can finally blend my surfaces in your Awesome! def.,....i've used: Right-click panel > Stream Contents to.txt format, then on Excel sheet, click empty cell Data tab > Get External Data > From Text. This imports x coordinates into a column, then y and z coord's one at a time. But please show any method to import all coord's simultaneously if possible?, and possibly how to use .xyz export format?,2) how to trim off excess Patch surface?, ..Patch > Trim is set to True but surface remains untrimmed,.B)INTERPOLATION:Screenshot 1 previews baked, Mesh deconstructed points, screenshot 3&4 shows results of Interpolation when mesh points are Set in Point component AND Set as one file path in ReadXL using "6b-RnGH_Simpdatainter-TTTWriteXL_J gh.xlsx", which contains the same "Streamed" X,Y,Z mesh points. It interpolates INcorrectly: moving vertically with the top left corner as high point, and does not change shape as your interpolated points\surface does.3) how to correct my mesh points interpolation to same as yours?,.4) how to alter your def. so it interpolates between 2 excel .xlsx containing surface xyz points?,Really impressed and appreciate your example instruction and powerful def's,hope to talk soon and learn more.Big fan, Jeff…

3. Design a custom aluminum beam (or contact Fipa) - BTW. Chinese do custom stuff for peanuts money.
4. Create the vault LBS first using the beams (the "skeleton").
5. Study Migua elastic inserts (critical) and Ceresit PE/S sealants. Get the gist of bridging gaps as a pro.
6. Use marine grade plywood only as a facet top cover (and some proper false ceiling). Plywood dimensions are usually 1.20 * 2.20 m. A 25 mm sheet could be OK for a small vault. DO NOT varnish the plywood. Epoxy glue linear aluminum L (10/10 mm) along the upper lips (in order to allow silicone to adhere properly (not shown in the image below) : failing to do that ... buy an umbrella).
7. Use trigonometry to calculate the variable beam placement per module.
