    The red lines are the boundaries of what were the parent mesh faces before subdividing.

    (I was working on a sort of "reverse subdivision")

    These could then be output as NURBS patches. I've not done anything for matching the tangencies between these patches though (and I'd need to check exactly what the T-Splines patent covers first!)

    Hm,i'm surprised to hear about the patent thing, but should you bother? I mean, Kangaroo as opposed to TSplines isn't a commercial project, right?
