getting started_catenary

HI,

could someone help me getting started in kangaroo,

I want to build up a simple only-springs-catenary like in the picture,

thnx!

    There are tutorials that you could download.

     

    Here basically, you need to first model a series if lines, similar to your diagram.

    Next you will need to define all your lines segments as springs, set your desired spring rest length, and add the anchor points.

     

    Note that this is not a cantenary, but a tension network.

      Hi Angelos, here is a start. For some reason the lines aren't updated in my test, but only the points - I'm not sure why. /Mårten
