Hello People;
I have been trying to use a definition that Daniel made for mesh relaxation, it worked nicely for many things I was trying to do.Except for one thing, restricting pathways.
I am trying to simulate an analogue form finding method (see attached picture) that I carried out as part of my dissertation project. I would like to create a grid, offset it and allow the mesh to only relax between the cells within the grid. Any suggestions?
Thanks;
Riyad

I had done something similar and ended up making planar surfaces from the "cells", then creating meshes from those planar surfaces, then relaxing those meshes.
the mesh creation part was a little messy, but it worked okay. maybe this might work for you?
