simulating an inflation process

dear all,

thanks to wannes lernout and Kangaroo i would like to simulate the inflation of the toy you see in the pic.

In general, this definition would be of great interest for simulating the inflation process of any shape.

I've drown a mesh and i've somehow folded it. when i inflate it, the mesh unfold automatically but it compenetrate itself during the inflation process. is there a way to force the structure not to compenetrate? it should be something like the video of daniel

if this would be possible, than the structure would touch itself and it would unfold faster and better....

in the file there are 4 different "folding steps". only the one with one line of folding behaves quite good!

Thanks for the help, guys!
