this has been in the works for years. Robert Aish (one of the creators of Generative components) and Joe Stam (the creator of Nucleus) have been collaboration on this endeavor (http://www.autodeskresearch.com/projects/complexconstraint) < just one example

its an odd pairing though they put a Ferrari engine inside a go-cart .

Revit really needs better modeling tools before you can drop a physics engine in it.
