springs

Hello, I'm wanting to experiment with springs in kangaroo.  The manual happens to briefly discuss this, and even mentions Hook's law.

So, where are the spring components?

This should be more straight forward.

If you are using 0.099, the spring component is called SpringsFromLine and has a picture of a coil spring as an icon.

In 2.0 onwards, this is replaced by the Length goal, which is a linearly elastic 1D finite element following Hooke's law.

    I'm using version 2.02.

I do see: "length(line)", and "plastic length".  I'm still learning the terminology quite a bit.  I'm assuming these are kangaroo components under the goals section?

I will play around with these to see if I can make sense of it.

Thank you Daniel.  I'm thrilled to begin learning these new tools/plugins.

    Lander,

Take a look in these in this  spring´s jump of Kangaroo over some curves and points...
