Wrap grid pattern around a spiral curve

Is there any way of wrapping a grid pattern like the one attached around a spiral? Almost like a balustrade pattern around a spiral stair.

Hi Enoch, I just noticed I did sth else with the attractor pts, but the principle is the same. Hope this helps.
