hallo Forum,

Is there a way to convert a mesh containing values as points to isoline curves?

I have a project of which i calculated the lux values, but i am not able to convert the points in the grid to isoline curves.

I just made a simple room from a different software; in the Attached files are 2 pictures: one showing the values as table and the other one as isolines ( i guess the isoline curves should be interpolation or average value from the values in the grid)

You can use Mesh Contour Field from Millipede plugin

mmm...nothing is happening...what is iso? and what should i connect contour with?

i right click to preview...but nothing is showing?

Value are value on the point of the mesh and iso are the isoline value(s) you want to see. There is a good PDF documentation on Millipede.  RTFM :-)

If you want more control on visualization I recommend you Paraview which is a very good scientific data viewer in 3D, also there is VizIt. There are both free. But you must provide a good file format.

Thx for your reply and clarification, however, still no output, can you maybe send a simple gh file where i can use it? i attached a jpeg screenshot where u can see that i am not getting a result , i am not sure what i did wrong?

In the pdf , I couldn't see more clarification concerning the Mesh countour...and where i can check PARAVIEW and VIZIT? I couldn't find them? there are new plug ins?

You must have a list of value equal of the number of vertices of the mesh ...

thank you for your reply...in my case, the F in the mesh is equal to the number of values ( and not the the vertices V), any suggestion how can i fix it?

Yes here is a solution using Sandbox. For each vertex sandbox give the face sharing this vertex. I calculate the surface per face, and after the trick is to affect this area to points and to calculate an average. Instead of providing Area you must provide your data.
