I don't know for sure, but [Sweep2] always requires some patience.

The one thing I can say is *sometimes* it has problems with closed rail curves, but other than that I don't think there are any magical answers.

well that you confirmed my impression.

this makes this tool very difficult to use.
Try using the Flip component to make sure the direction of both rails is the same. I was actually about to post that I was having the same problem with the Sweep2 component, but then I tried the Flip thing, and got it to work. So I can't tell you exactly which way the directions are supposed to go, but I think Flip is the way to do it.
flipping will not work because it is a domain problem
david has to check that component..... and has to add additional lines to get it work like the rhino command
so than this step does not work because of an internal issue toJ?

Claas
the only thing you currently can do is not to sweep closed curves because they have to be recognized inside the sweep 2 component and handled in a other way .. but that is something david has to do
but if you shatter before sweep so that they have a little gap than it will sweep but not close the loft las the rhino command do that
