cannot bake gemoetry - fillet issue

HiI have an odd issue I cannot resolve. As you an see the red revolve does not render with the openGL shaderas well as not bake into actually NURBS geometry. And I am not sure why this is an issue. I…Continue

can GH also show surface evaluations like env map zebra or curvature for cnc

out of curiosityis that possible with GH so I do not have to bake the mesh and do it in Rhino? It would be very great for deisgn work.ClaasContinue

Separating result of 2 list arrays for loft horizontal rings

I just discovered the series generator.Pretty neat tool. You can see the result of the loft which makes sense because it is a series. However I would like to loft not like 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4.But…Continue

Artifact with Array / Attractor

As you can see the point selected creates double circles upperleft corner. If I use the second point it all works fine.No double circles lower right corner.Any pointer what could cause this? Continue

Hey Claas! I have the same problem by now, i need to bend an object along a path as well. Did anyone come up with an option? Thanks for any reply, i´m kind of in a hurry.

I like to try creating variations of this model using the genertive design method described in www.opengenertivedesign.com . Wonder if I can use your model with due acknowledgement.

cannot back gemoetry

HiI have an odd issue I cannot resolve. As you an see the red revolve does not render with the openGL shaderas well as not bake into actually NURBS geometry. And I am not sure why this is an issue. I drew all lines following the samedirection. The fillet curve tool creates something bad here.If I remove it it works fine. But than it works fine with the fillet node on the inner part of the ring.See More

Ah too bad but thank you for the post. Well I can still do it after baking the geometry. Claas

usually it means you are using "longest list" for data matching lists of uneven length when it's unnecesary, though it's pretty much impossible to tell without a .ghx or at least some panels in the screenshot that show some of…

Hi Claas, this is not possible now. You can assign materials using the Custom Preview component (you'll need to have the RDK installed), and materials can have reflection maps, but that will only allow you to mimic Emap and maybe…

If you have two lists of curves like this {a, b, c, ..., z} {A, B, C, ..., Z} and you want to change it into: {a, A} {b, B} {c, C} ... {z, Z} Then firts make sure both lists have the same Branch layout, and then Graft both your lists. This will…

Here's a more complicated definition that you might want to look at... sorry it's not annotated very well. the base curve is divided into segments based on local curvature - greater curvature equals more subdivisions (this is the…

this is a pretty basic task, using only the [range], [graph mapper], and [evaluate length] components.

How? I have no idea how to construct that together. Lets say from each end of a curve to the center the subdivision gets denser so you will have more planks at the center of the curve while to the end of the planks the amount of planks gets more…

Damien Alomar replied to Claas Eicke Kuhnen's discussion 'Subdivide a curve not in even steps'
How exactly are you looking to subdivide? Without defining exactly how your looking to subdivide, it makes it hard to actually put one together. Subdividing each subsequent step (ie 1, .5, .25, .125, etc) isn't hard and can be done with a few…

Damien Alomar replied to Claas Eicke Kuhnen's discussion 'Flip orientation Issue with Curve Frames'
This is NOT an bug, just the way curve frames work. Curvature frames are created by the tangent vector (which winds up being the Z vector of the plane), the curve normal (the direction created by the point on the curve to the center of the…
