Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I´m quite new to Grasshopper - so I might have just not found the right path.

So what I was trying to do is that I have a mesh from which I got the interior edges.

The problem now is that there is such a huge count of lines and I want to reduce them and go on with the half or a third of them in u and v direction.

I try to do this by the component "split list" but i don´t know how to set the splitting index to get two separate lists with the lines in u direction and the other one with the v direction.

Any advices?

Attached are screenshots of the form.

Thanks,

David

Hello David,

kangaroo has a warp weft component that sorts mesh edges into two lists according to their direction. i am not sure if it works with such complex meshes.

usually with just screenshots not many users chime in to help. so please upload you mesh-definition, in order to get help.

best
