Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I have a lot of angular surfaces on Rhino and I would like to know if there is a way of selecting only the interior corners (points) from all the surfaces via grasshopper.

I would like to cnc these surfaces. Where there is an interior corner I need to place a dog-bone cut for the router to penetrate. For further understanding of this please google "interior corner cnc" in the images search it makes it clear what I am trying to say.

But basically all I need is to be able to select all the interior corners.

Thank you

Hello,

I hope this jpeg clarifies. It is an example of a shape I want to cnc. I need to alter all of the "interior corners" from right angles to dog-bone fillets (as shown in the "zoom" window). Since I have to select and change the interior corners out of 20 sheets full of these shapes I was wondering if grasshoper could do it for me as it would take too long doing them individually.

The red dots are marking the "interior corners".

Thanks

Hi,

I wrote a Grasshopper script to do this. The only caveat is that it may only work on corners aligned to the X or Y axis.

I'd really like to write a Python script. I wish there was a good reference manual for it. Something like the Unix manual pages or good O'Reilly reference manual. (Not for the python, but for the McNeel rhinoscriptsytax portion.)
