algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Does anyone know how to convert a series of meatball curves into a clean piece of geometry?  I have tried lofting continuous runs and then hand modeling in the portions where it splits, but the results are not very smooth.  I am looking for any sort of method, inside grasshopper or exporting to another modeling program.  I would like to have a clean piece of geometry that I can subdivide and create mullion systems from.

Thanks,

Sam

I divided the curves and then used MeshFromPoints in Rhino. This worked sometimes!

oh wait, did you say meatballs? I just use thick gravy and then slice the geometry with a sharp steak knife.

try giving this a thorough read, (helps understand what the VB component is asking for).

settings may vary due to your geometry but after some fine tuning of the inputs, it's the best example of creating good/usable geometry from metaballs that I have come across.
