algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm currently working on a theory project on teleportation as a means of travel. Rhino with Tsplines was used for freeform modeling. I would like to incorporate a fiber optics system that would connect the various TELEport Stations. the fibers would take on a life of their own in the network adding secondary level of visual interest.  any help is appreciated

I got a self-awareness, self-preservation conundrum for you, assuming teleportation works by scanning your molecular structure and regenerating it in another place:

- Scenario A: You are copied and destroyed at the exact same time, this has the same effect as just moving to the other place. First you were in one place, then you are in another. No conundrum here.

- Scenario B: You are destroyed just a few seconds after you are copied to another place. Imagine the operator telling to the original you "OK, you were copied successfully, I'm just going to kill you now since you are happily enjoying life in another place."

maybe they use ctrl+X instead. ;)

That's a variation of Scenario A, in which your molecular structure is copied and at the exact same time you are destroyed, but you are expected to be regenerated some time in the future. This is like if you are in a coma or cryogenically frozen for some time, so there's no conundrum here.

Thanks guys....this is not helping my dilemma could we also address creating the lofted fiber optics?

Can you describe a bit more formally what you are trying to achieve? Maybe a hand drawn sketch on top of your images.

What I think you want is maybe wavy cables floating all over the place. Might be very dangerous, if someone accidentally trips disconnecting one, lives are lost.

Giger style!
