Merging meshes planes

I found this awesome gh definition earlier this year and started playing with it, the script works well between two planes. Ive copied the script and tried merging between four planes, I would like to have the surfaces merge together whenever they intersect if possible attached is a screen shot of the model.See More

Chris Tietjen replied to shaun's discussion Laying geometry flat
"It looks like an easy way to do that would be to simply bake the geometry into Rhino and then use the Surface>Unroll Developable Srf command. "

Hannes Löschke replied to shaun's discussion Laying geometry flat
"What you call "laying flat" is actually called "unrolling" and there are loads of topics for this and laser cutting. Try the search function on your right hand side."

Weaverbird - Topological Mesh Editor

Weaverbird is a topological modeler that contains many of the known subdivision and transformation operators, readily usable by designers. Instead of doing the work repeatedly, or sometimes using complicated scripts, this plug-in helps reconstructing shapes as meshes, subdivides and refines even polyline lists, and helps preparing the model for fabrication. Weaverbird is the first released addon for Grasshopper but the group is new, so please join it to participate in discussions, ask questions…See More

Elastic Form Finding

Ok its been 2 days and after some sleepless nights I beileve I am getting very close to creating the gum model in my earlier postBecause I am using the 2d rectangle grid I am getting the weird rectangular voids which I would much rather see as a dense surface because it is the ground plane of the site.. I attempted to use…See More
