algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi Guys,

I get an orange component although i am doing a very simple surface division.

Would you know why? Could it be the surface itself?

many thanks,

check your 'i' values

should be 0,1,2,3
do you have 1,2,3,4?
0,1,2,3 Yep...
It s kind of strange because it still works.
I think it is the way the input surface is modelled : with ends that are points...
hard to tell without seeing the ghx and 3dm
Its pretty easy to see. There are some surface patches (from the ISOTRIM component) which genetrate Triangular patches, or patches with only three corners towards the poles of the surface. Thus when you explode these patches, one might not have the fourth corner point, hance why you would get a warning.

Try it with a sphere or other surfaces with poles and you will see the same thing...
Bingo!

Orange is just a warning... It doesn't mean anything is incorrect.

Also, the warning message should give a hint as to what is causing the flag.
