Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Something I'm stuck with all day without a solution..
I have a perfectly FLAT surface bound by two arcs of the same length (the shape of an eye)

A) How do you triangulate this surface with only ONE sized panel (or the fewest modules possible)?
Now,
B) would it be easier to do this if the actual shape of the surface were to be compromised? OR
C) if the surface was bent in single curvature?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

You should try PannelingTools by Rajaa Issa a plugin for rhino, and there's some work around to conect it with GH.

Its a really cool tool to panel everything!!!
Yeah Paneling tools is really cool, but it only seems to give multiple panel types.. Dunno if it's just me or what..
there's a way of making your own geometry and paneling that instead...is that what you meant?
Theres one method that allows you to do it I think, but be carfeull, not all surfaces can be devided in regular identical panels. Only very specific and reglated geometrues.

Good luck
What is the panel size? If you know how big the panel is then why not lay it out and see how many fit over the surface you want to make?
