cage edit - curve extraction

Hello,

I am trying to convert a morphed cage into curve geometry, but exploding or referencing it in grasshopper doesn't lead me anywhere. Is there someway to convert the outlines (curve box) of the cage edit into "normal" geometry? with grasshopper by any other means?
