algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello guys,

I have an issue managing boid behaviour with Boid and Anemone addons. I want to make a script where the points will:

1) move according to a random vector

2) avoid the box (make the points bounch off box, forcings the points which are inside stay inside and force the points which are outside stay outside)

(!),(2) at the same time

For now i seem to not be able to connect the 2 above behaviours together in a proper way within the anemone loop. I get some random results where the points that are inside go outside and vise versa.

Thank you in advance for your help.

I don't install many plugins but Anemone is an exception; so I thought I'd try BOIDS too, even though the two features you are depending on here can be implemented in plain GH:

The first thing I did was because I wanted to improve the visualization; made more sense to me (from experience) to use Anemone's "Record data" feature than what you had in place...

Note the two vectors, black and white, affecting every point.  That doesn't seem quite right?

Thank you for your response Joseph. I would also like to mention cocoon addon by David Stasiuk http://www.grasshopper3d.com/photo/cocoon-1 which would be nicely combined with boids addon in order to make a mesh flow along the curves that come out from a boid simulation. These (along with mesh tools like weaverbird) would produce very interesting organic shapes.
