mesh load or uniform line load

Hi,Clemens, forgive my asking so many problems :)

When I consider dead load of floor or roof , would I build a mesh according the shape of roof and put a mesh load, or put uniform line load on beam？ If mesh load, can karamba accurately distribute mesh load to each beam as line load ? Do I need to limit BeamIds of beams which directly connect  roof, or karamba can automatically find the correct beams?

Hi oldstory, the 'MeshLoad'-component can generate point- and line-loads. If the resolution of the mesh which is used for defining the mesh-load is fine enough, the results for the line-loads will match those which one would get from a hand calculation using influence areas. For details regarding the MeshLoad-component please see the manual.
