Gridshell analysis

Hi! 

Im setting up a calculation for a wooden gridshell on pinned supports, columns. As the connections between the wooden beams the arent moment fixed im using the joint component to introduce spring connections between the parts. I can only "spring" the end or start part of the beams, is that correct modeled? 

The supports are just translation fixated. I wonder if my results can be somewhat realistic, see picture. 

Also I wonder how you load a materialfile for wooden properties I havent got one on my computer when Im searching for it...

Im using galapagos to optimize the column placement for minimal deflection  this is the placement I got and the moment and shear distribution... could that be right?
