Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey Guys,

Is it possible to create a new viewport in Rhino with a button in Grasshopper?

Or make one Viewport full screen.

And i found a "jump" component. Is their a way to activate this with a toggle button?

Rhino viewports can be created and changed via the use of commands, so it should be possible to invoke those commands from within Grasshopper (or indeed any plugin that runs inside Rhino).

Can you be a bit more descriptive about what it is you're trying to achieve? When you say 'button', do you mean the button on the Grasshopper canvas or some generic button on a window somewhere?

Ok i try it ;)

1) I want create a user interface in Grasshopper. In this User Interface i want create a button that the user allows to maximize the right viewport from Rhino.

2.) In Grasshopper i found a component "jump". This function allows to jump through my userinterface. But i don't want click on the "jump" button i want oporate this with my "go to next step button".

I hope it is now a little bit more clearly.

I have tried to change the viewports in Rhino but at the moment i can only create new viewports.

But I want change only the viewports.

Sorry for this easy question.

There are a few components around, that help you manipulate the Rhino viewport. Horster Camera Control being probably the oldest with the fresh addition of Flounder and not to forget the generic part of Scarab.

Thanks!
