Load to mass conversion

Hi Karamba.

Here we go again... :)

 

In order to do Dynamic analysis, it is needed to convert the loads on a structure to mass in the nodes (if I understand correctly). Is there a "best" way to this using Karamba?

I know that in Robot it is a pretty simple, but automatic command. Is karamba able to do something similar?

Hi Rasmus,

an external load is not necessarily equivalent to mass. I agree that it could be useful to have a component for automatic conversion for point- and line-loads. 

At the moment (Karamba 1.0.3) the best way to convert point loads to masses is to use the point-mass component.
