Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi!

I'm working out a set of polylines with a series of data associated to its vertices which implies a radius.

Basically, it is some sort of pre scripted loft described by a series of vertices and correlative radius.

I'm having problems to transform it to a solid/mesh/surface, probably because of my lack of expertice so I decided to ask here if anyone can figure it out.

Attached goes the GH definition and a set of images which explain it.

ANy help will be wellcome.

Cheers!

mmm... just did it... and it was as easy as I supposed...

Thanks anyway.

can't hurt to post how you did it...:)

Yeah, sorry for the delay...

What I did was a completet change of strategy.

Considering the implied data, I distributed it through the trails to produce polygons whose discontinuities were set as to produce a quad mesh. Quite a traditional approach and almost certainly not the most efficient, but I was in a hurry to deliver my thesis back then.

Please find attached the deffinition with the required data, if anyone cares to have a look.

Cheers!
