mesh splitting/trimming

hi there,

i do have a triangulated mesh stripe, in top view  its a rectangle.

how can i split the stripe with multiple planes and getting the different elements

i tried MESHSPLIT PLANE but gives not single elements but pairs of elements.

Wasn't that the point - you have a mesh and by splitting it with a vertical plane it gets halved - into one half and another?

hi pyrit. I hope this helps. By using a curve to split into multiple planes before splitting it then selecting it again after the split.
