"well, it won't really handle sectionally-specific bending properties. But a general bending resistance is possible in kangaroo with the "bend" force. Here's a pretty simple example, maybe you can adapt it to do something closer…"

bending behaviour

hi @ll,what would be the best way to simulate bending behaviour of a reet stick ?http://pbr2010.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/mudhif-4.jpeg?w=450&h=294i thought about bending behaviour of a fishing rod.is there a way of simulating different sections for their bending behaviour in kangaroo/karamba ?thanks !See More

David Rutten replied to pyrit's discussion difference - set components
"In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not. Your points arrive at your Set components via different routes, a lot of mathematical operations are not analytic, in that they yield the exact answer you'd theoretically…"

Danny Boyes replied to pyrit's discussion difference - set components
"The problem is not with the Difference component. I wouldn't even be able to identify those 4 points in the other list. :) I think you're making an assumption of accuracy that's not there. You would need to round those…"
