Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Dear all,

is it possible to draw a circle on Grasshopper defined by 2 points and a center and to constrain its diameter?

Many thanks Stephanie

I think two points and a center already lock down the diameter. In fact a single point and a center already locks down the diameter as the radius is the distance between the points.

Hi David,

Thanks for your reply. My points are moving so I'm trying to get a range of vertical displacements for one of the points defining the circles that allow me to keep the same radius.

Please see attached my files- the Rhino and gh.

Is there any Grasshopper command that allow to draw a circle defined by 2 points and a center?

many thanks

Hi David,

Please see print screen attached of the geometry I'm trying to achieve in Grasshopper.

I'd like to be able to vary of the angle of opening for the small circle-louver so I can link this angle with Daylight analysis in Ecotect.

Please let me know if you have any advice.

Many thanks

Stephanie

Thanks a lot for your help.

Yes that's exactly what I was trying to achieve. I really like the logic you're using as well.

All the best
