Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I have hopefully simple problem. I can not find a solution how to find maximum moment under the beam (There is "only" a  simple way how to find them above the supports).

I don`t want to divide a curve to certain amount of points in between each pair od supports because it might be that the max will be in between them.

Does any one had such a problem before?

You can analyze section forces only at the endpoints of segments. There is a SForce component (I believe its Pro-Version only) that returns those forces fore each element. The handbook says to subdivide your beams in order to find maximal forces between supports.

The S-Force component of the TRIAL/PRO-version of Karamba 0.9.084 returns the section forces at intervals of fixed length or at a fixed number of points.
