Hi Guy,

for Vb.net, at the moment the primary reference is the _GrasshopperGetSDKDocumentation command. This downloads a help file on your hard disk and there is a topic with instructions.

I also just saw this tutorial by Jonatan Schumacher, which looked very promising.

Finally, if you do not find things in the user interface, I made a video for C# 2008 Express, but the editor is pretty similar.

You can also ask specific questions if you get stuck!
A supporting method for Python-based GHA's is being implemented but is not yet ready for use.
