algorithmic modeling for Rhino

bake custom preview LINE color?

hello

i've spent the past couple of hours trying to get a set of polylines to have custom colors depending on their length. I got that though the custom preview color, but now I am looking for some way to bake the lines with those colors. I have the bakeAttributes script from Giulio Piacentino but my issue is that the custom preview has no object output, as it is only a preview... Is there any way to create a line with a custom color (as it is possible with a mesh?)

see attched. you can accomplish the same thing really easily with a few domain components and ModeLab's 'ModeTools' - download link here
